Cable Tray Support Systems

Trays are only as strong as what holds them up — struts, cantilever arms, brackets and base plates engineered as one system.

Cable Tray Support Systems
Overview

The Skeleton Behind Every Tray Route

Every tray load calculation assumes supports at the right interval, with the right stiffness, anchored the right way. Our support and fixing system supplies that assumption as hardware: slotted strut channels in single and double sections, cantilever arms, wall brackets and base plates — all dimensioned to pair with our tray range.

Slotted struts are the system's flexibility: tray arms, hangers and clamps bolt anywhere along the slot without drilling, so levels can be adjusted and future tiers added without touching the building structure again.

Everything ships in matching finishes — pre-galvanized for interiors, hot-dip galvanized for plant and outdoor duty — with the channel nuts, threaded rods and fixing hardware to complete the installation.

  • Single and double slotted strut channels
  • Cantilever arms, wall brackets, gusset and base plates
  • Adjustable — reposition arms without re-drilling
  • Finishes matched to the tray: pre-galvanized / HDG

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Why buy supports from the tray manufacturer?

Because span assumptions, hole patterns and finishes then match by design. Mixed-source supports are the usual reason trays sag, joints twist and galvanic couples appear at fixings.

Single or double strut — how do I choose?

Single strut handles standard wall and trapeze duty; double strut takes heavy multi-tier racks and long cantilevers. Send the cable schedule and we size it with the tray quote.

Can tiers be added later?

Yes — that is the value of slotted channel. New arms bolt into the same struts at any level, so adding a tier is a hardware task, not a drilling and repainting project.

What finish should supports have?

The same class as the tray they carry: pre-galvanized indoors, hot-dip galvanized for outdoor and process areas — keeping every metal surface in the run electrochemically compatible.
